Listen up “Project Harpoon” (or “Operation Harpoon” as your Facebook says you’re running scared to Your argument that poorly photoshopped photos can help people that YOU consider unhealthy to finally “inspire them to go to the gym” is not only disgusting and misguided, but it’s incredibly ignorant! The plus size celebrities and models you include in your portfolio (like Tess Holiday Munster and Rebel Wilson) are some of the most well-respected self-love icons in the world. Do you know why they’re at that level? Because they have openly spoken about their personal journeys, difficulties with bullying, and lifestyles. In fact, most of them go to the gym often and eat healthily. Had you even researched a single thing about them, you would know that (it’s all over their social media)! But the truth of the matter is: it’s none of your business! According to People.com, you’re a man named Nick Baskins. From your terrible photoshopping I can only assume you don’t really know how the female body works. Most of your portfolio has taken in the midsection of these models and slimmed their arms, but left their breasts big and their hips curvy. Sorry sweetie! Many women can tell you that breasts are the FIRST thing that goes when they lose weight. But it’s adorable to have a man try and tell us otherwise. Your post of Melissa McCarthy asking followers to select which version they like more, but “NO hate speech or shaming please!” is hilarious! Your post is shaming! Your post can be seen as hate speech! My real inquiry here is, what happened to you? What made you so hateful that you need to perpetuate this unrealistic societal ideal? I say unrealistic, because YOU MADE IT WITH PHOTOSHOP! Thanks for reading, I just needed to say something.
