McCarthy & Spencer are 'Thunder Force'

It's a moment many of us have been waiting for: plus size superheroes! Not just a token fatty on a super team, but TWO kick-ass women who happen to be larger than your average action star. 
Thunder Force, which is hitting Netflix on April 9th, released a trailer today. Watch it below.

Award winning actors, Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer have teamed up to make this Fat Girl's dream come true in Netflix's upcoming action-comedy Thunder Force. 

Although already led by star power, the cast also includes Bobby Cannavale (who co-starred as a love interest for McCarthy in HBO Max's SuperIntelligence) and Jason Bateman (who co-starred with McCarthy in Identity Thief). Rounding out the cast is Pom Klementieff, Kevin Dunn, Melissa Leo, and (of course) Ben Falcone - who is also the writer and director of the movie.

Thunder Force: In a world where supervillains are commonplace, two estranged childhood best friends reunite after one devises a treatment that gives them powers to protect their city.

Thunder Force drops April 9th on Netflix.
