![]() New reality series, Cast Me! on MyxTV, is fighting for body diversity in front of the camera and former host of Australia's Biggest Loser, Ajay Rochester is leading the charge! What is Cast Me! & how does it work? In each 30-minute episode, aspiring actors are presented a real opportunity to shine in front of real casting directors in attempts to win a role in commercials, movies, or music videos.
Sara, like many of us, already knows what expected of her in Hollywood: you can play the sassy best friend but you'll never be the love interest. Unlike the fat males, such as Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill, who will always win the heart of the skinny ingenue. Once Legarreta opens his dumb misogynistic mouth, asking her if she's here for the right role, Rochester steps in and shuts him down, "You don't have to be an asshole. You can give her 60 seconds. You can let her audition and let her go, without having to make her feel like a piece of shit." Watch a clip from the episode below
Stand up for your sisters, don't let anyone walk all over her because they'll walk all over you too. And finally, give people a chance. You don't know their story and you never know what that person can do. Looks can be deceiving. As Sara says, you'll be hard pressed to find someone healthier than her. You can't be sure she's unhealthy based on her shape, that's not how health is measured or determined.
