Famed Model and inspirational human being, Tess Holliday, has fought fatphobia countless times and won. Yet, Facebook continues to disable her account for posting things they claim as violations of community standards.
This story is ongoing. For more, follow @Tess_Holliday on Twitter & @TessHolliday Instagram
Tess Holliday is the first 5'5" size 22 model to sign with a major modeling agency, MilK Management. Additionally, she landed the cover of PEOPLE magazine in May 2015, with the headline “The World’s First Size 22 Supermodel” .
According to her twitter and Instagram accounts, she had previously been temporarily suspended for posting a bikini photo which "promoted an unhealthy lifestyle" (she claims she eventually received an apology for the "mistake" - I'll save that for another rant) but this time the block is for posting screenshots of "someone saying aweful things to me" and "threatening me".
Although posting this conversation may violate Facebook's policy, Tess reposted it on Twitter for the world to see, alongside her question for Facebook: why her 3-day ban is now on day 4? No answer yet, but as this story is ongoing you can follow @Tess_Holliday on Twitter & @TessHolliday Instagram for more.
