Others are honest and what we big girls wanna hear, like the new track Thunder Thighs by Miss Eaves: "Chub Rub/ The day is just heating up/ So what/ These board shorts are inching up/ Thick thighs, sun dress, I'm looking good" Check out the video below and thank me in the comments for introducing you to your new Summer Anthem! ![]() Iskra Lawrence, best known as the plus size model who stripped down in the subway, was recently criticized for not actually being "plus size". While fans appreciate her posting non-retouched photos on her Instagram, they cant' help but point out that she's in no way bigger than the average woman. Athleta received a whole lot of (reasonable) backlash for featuring straight sized models to show off their plus size clothing. According to Glamour, Now, Athleta has issued a statement on the matter that doubles as a promise to be more aware of its practices in the future. "This is a place where we can do better. The positive portrayal of women in the media is very important to us," the company's statement said, according to Hello Giggles. "We celebrate women of all body shapes, sizes, ethnicities, and ages across our stores, website, campaigns, and social media channels. The Power of She campaign is what we really stand for. It’s really important for us to acknowledge the strength, health, and beauty all women have. This is something we’ve been looking at and working fervently to solve.”
