New York Fashion Week - a week of glitz, glamour, and couture - has been increasing their Plus Size visibility inch by inch each year and this year, according to AOL, 27 plus models walked down the most sought after runways!
It looked like many Plus Models walked for multiple designers, and some designers (like Christian Siriano) used a whole lot of plus models, yet most of the old-school designers chose not to even include one.

Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition is extra curvy this year with a Kate Upton on the cover (she considers herself curvy, and is a bit bigger than your average straight-sized model), plus ads for Lane Bryant featuring model Denise Bidot and her stretch marks, and of course former SI covergirl Ashley Graham modeling for Swimsuits for all. But the biggest surprise of all (pun intended) was Hunter McGrady in a body-painted swimsuit!
