6 Favorite Plus Size Retailers!

There's lots of Fatshion out there these days, but who is the best? I've compiled a list of my favorites (in no particular order).

Rebel Wilson in Eloquii, Vogue Australia 2017
Eloquii - After rebranding in 2014, Eloquii has quickly become one of the top brands to dress celebs on the red carpet, including Rebel Wilson, Gabby Sidebe, and Chrissy Metz.

City Chic - An Australian brand, City Chic has only started appearing in the US in the last 3 years. Another brand known for dressing celebs, like singer Mary Lambert and FabLife host Lauren Makk. The amount of effort and care put into their clothing shows in the items you buy -it's quality stuff - and with CC, you know that a dress you buy from them won't rip after you wear it once. But the best part of City Chic is their sales! A sale is nearly always happening (sign up for the emails - there are a lot of them, but they're always announcing a sale) and sometimes the prices get so low you just can't believe it!

Torrid - Pretty well known PS brand Torrid is available for office attire, as well as all your casual needs. Jeans? No problem! Leggings? Any color you want! Tanks & Tees? Duh! Although their prices are sometimes crazy (just wait till the item's on sale, then it's reasonably priced) and the quality of their clothing isn't City Chic caliber, they are my go-to first stop when I need anything from a new blazer to a holiday party dress.

Lane Bryant - The classic PS retailer (who I believe coined the term Plus Size) is great if you're an adult, with an adult life. I don't think of myself as an adult, so it's not often that I find what I'm looking for in Lane Bryant - that aren't all that trendy and hip - unless it's a bra. Lane Bryant's CACIQUE lingerie line is the best!

Gwynnie Bee - If you're not looking to make a commitment, then try Gwynnie Bee - a monthly subscription service that will send you clothing to wear and return!

Forever 21+ - Young. Hip, and Trendy!  Forever 21 + has recently (within the last 5 years or so) launched their PS branch. Everything is quite affordable, especially when on sale, but the quality of the material and how pieces are designed often suffers.
Honorable Mentions:
Lola Getts - an activewear brand that knows how to create quality products. I have a pair of the "Perfect Legging" which is great for any workout and has the right amount of fabric to keep your privates private during downward dog.
The Plus Bus - a second hand boutique, in LA, started by stylist Marcy Guevara and Jen Wilder. The Plus Bus is the perfect place to Buy. Swap. Sell.

Brands I hear people love, but I have not tried yet:
ASOS Curve
ModCloth
Igigi (recently relaunched, but seems to only be a variety of wrap dresses)
Deb Shops
Simply Be

Did I miss any? Let me know in the comments where YOU love to shop?
